Due to constant heavy traffic using the tunnel between two hospital wings, the floor had become worn and uneven. Belzona 4131 Magma Screed was first applied to the surface to repair the damaged concrete. Following this, two coats of Belzona 5231 SG Laminate were applied to provide protection to the surface together with positive grip. | Corrosive chemicals lead to damaging the concrete in this chemical containment area. The existing concrete could no longer prevent liquid loss into the groundwater/watercourse in the event of spillage. Belzona 4131 Magma Screed was used to repair and resurface the existing concrete. Belzona 5811 Immersion Grade was then used to coat the chemical containment area to prevent chemicals from damaging the recreated concrete. | ||
