Pump Efficiency Improvements
Typically the energy cost of a pump represents the largest portion of its lifetime costs - much more than the capital cost. Therefore, an improvement in energy efficiency will represent a significant reduction in lifetime costs. Deterioration in service can reduce efficiency, leading to as much as 10-15% extra energy consumption leading to increased operating costs, reduced head, shorter service life, and reduced flow. The Belzona Supermetalglide System will not only restore pumping efficiency, but also reduce the rate of future deterioration significantly. Protect your equipment now by trying one of the Belzona Pump Coatings for protecting and boosting pump efficiency!

The steps had worn badly after a few hundred years causing a major safety hazard. The client needed a product that could be applied in the evening and re-opened for the next business day. Belzona 4131 Magma Screed was used to rebuild the severe pitting of the stairs because of its excellent wear resistance and low maintenance needs. | Regular application of salt had led to deterioration of concrete beneath asphalt. When asphalt was removed, the major structural issue was uncovered. Belzona 4141 Magma Build was used to rebuild damaged concrete. After the damage was repaired, the concrete was coated with Belzona 5811 to resist from salt attack, freeze/thaw effects, and an aesthetic finish.

Due to constant heavy traffic using the tunnel between two hospital wings, the floor had become worn and uneven. Belzona 4131 Magma Screed was first applied to the surface to repair the damaged concrete. Following this, two coats of Belzona 5231 SG Laminate were applied to provide protection to the surface together with positive grip. | Corrosive chemicals lead to damaging the concrete in this chemical containment area. The existing concrete could no longer prevent liquid loss into the groundwater/watercourse in the event of spillage. Belzona 4131 Magma Screed was used to repair and resurface the existing concrete. Belzona 5811 Immersion Grade was then used to coat the chemical containment area to prevent chemicals from damaging the recreated concrete.
